The Auckland Aces have achieved history at the cashed-up Twenty20 Champions League.
With a six wicket win in their first qualifying match against Pakistan's Sialkot Stallions, some tight bowling - including an impressive four over spell from Kyle Mills that reaped two wickets and cost just six runs - restricted the Stallions to 130 for 9.
Lou Vincent and Martin Guptill got the aces run chase off on the right foot, with Guptill top scoring with 40 off 32 balls.
Late fireworks from Anaru Kitchen secured the comfortable victory.
The Aces putting themselves in a good position to advance and they'll take on Hampshire tomorrow.
