Broncos push for finals with win

The Broncos have beaten the Panthers at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane to help their bid for finals football, ending their six-game losing-streak in the process.
But it was the Panthers who struck first with the only try of the first half through Josh Mansour in the 30th minute.
But the Broncos scored early in the second half when Peter Wallace finished a great run from Justin Hodges, and then added another soon after through Ben Te’o.
The Panthers continued to press for a try which came from Lachlan Coote with just over ten minutes remaining to lock the scores.
But the Broncos sent the home crowd into raptures as Alex Glenn dotted down with less than five minutes remaining.
A last minute Peter Wallace drop goal put the result beyond doubt.
