The North Queensland Cowboys have kept their hopes alive of a top 4 finish in the NRL with a rare win on the road 32-22 over the Dragons.
The Cowboys dominated early with Kane Linnett dotting down twice before the Dragons hit back with three unanswered tries to take the lead just after half time.
But the Cowboys re-asserted themselves with tries to Johnathan Thurston and Matty Bowen to ensure victory and stay a win behind the 4th placed Manly Sea Eagles.
The Dragons finals hopes now dashed - they'll face the also vanquished Warriors on Saturday.
