Fiji is in lockdown for the next 36-hours, as Cyclone Evan crashes into western parts of the islands.
The Yasawa Islands in the Pacific nation's North-West are being battered by 150km/h winds - with the slow-moving storm gaining momentum as it tracks towards western tourist hotspots.
Power has been cut to the island, with locals using any available materials to board up shops and houses.
