The 2015 Rugby World Cup moved a step closer as a new tournament headquarters was opened at Twickenham Stadium.

Former World Cup winners with England, Lawrence Dallaglio and Will Greenwood - ambassadors for the tournament in three years' time - attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Greenwood hopes to inspire a new generation of rugby players.

"The vast majority of rugby players in this country don't have that opportunity, it's not about representing England, it's about being part of your local club and your local community - and I was brought up in that environment and hopefully can deliver some passion along the way in the next three years of enthusing people to go and join their local rugby (club), to work alongside the RFU, alongside 2015 to make sure that message is being driven home,” says Greenwood, England Rugby 2015 ambassador

England was chosen to host the 2015 competition in July 2009, beating rival bids from Italy, Japan and South Africa.

New Zealand hosted the most recent tournament, in 2011, and lifted the Webb Ellis Cup.
