New Zealand Drug Foundation Chief Executive Ross Bell

Three new synthetic cannabis products are expected to be off shelves by next week.

Associate Health Minister Peter Dunne says testing is currently underway and if they products found to contain substances already banned they'll be gone.

This comes only three months after the "legal highs" were regulated but it seems manufacturers are determined to get around the law.

New Zealand Drug Foundation Chief Executive Ross Bell spoke to Firstline this morning.
