Legendary Canadian footballers and former rivals Joe Kapp and Angelo Mosca got into an expletive-laced, cane-swinging brawl at a Canadian Football League luncheon honoring the 73-year old players.
Video shows Kapp, a former British Columbia Lions quarterback and his one-time nemesis Mosca, a former Hamilton Tiger-Cats lineman lunging at each other and exchanging blows after after Mosca rejected a flower that Kapp offered as a peace gesture.
Mosca swings his cane at Kapp who then retaliates with his fists, hitting Mosca on his jaw.
Shocked onlookers finally broke up the two men, but not before Kapp punched the heavyset Mosca to the floor.
The men have reportedly been at odds for almost half a century, following a 1963 championship game in which Mosca delivered a questionable hit that knocked one of Kapp's teammates out of the game.
