Reigning Bathurst champions Garth Tander and Nick Percat have arrived for this year's Great Race.
The duo spent a busy day in Bathurst with numerous public appearances including a visit to the Coates Hire outlet.
Although he had raced there previously in Aussie Race cars and the Dunlop series, 23- year-old Percat created history when he won on his Bathurst 1000 debut.
His partnership with three-time winner, Garth Tander was the closest finish in the history of the great race.
Tander’s victories at Bathurst have come in 2000, 2009 & 2011.
Plus he took the V8 Championship in 2007.
Percat will be amongst a group of drivers pulling 'double duty' as he will also be driving the Coates Hire Commodore in the V8 Dunlop Series in races on Friday and Saturday.
