LIVE Commentary… Santos 0 Vs Barcelona 4

Our apologies as systems have gone down... but all highlights have been added... enjoy as Barcelona is crowned World Club Cup champs! Messi added his second goal to make it 4-0 (his second goal has been added to the video).

HALFTIME and Barca leads by 3-0. See you after the break.

44 mins: Iniesta, Messi down the left, it goes square along the back and now Barca probes the right... back again, left, right... it's everywhere... OH MY GOD... GOAL Fabregas scores but it could have been Messi.... or anyone really. Video up soon.

42 mins: All the movement off the ball is bewildering to Santos at times... coach Muricy Ramalho is scratching is head wondering what to do.Barca with 75% of the ball - starving the opposition of the ball.

40 mins: Santos just hanging on trying to get to halftime and start things over after the break.

36 mins:  Pass, pass, pass as passes are traded by Barca players like nothing before... control is the word that suits, actually, two words - total control.

30 mins: The superlatives fro Barcelona could go on and on.... they are in lethal form on the ball and if not for better finishing could be five or six up.

28 mins: Fabregas now hits the post.... ohhhh so close. Video up. This is one way traffic and Danilo is off for Elano on... Sanots searching for something as they are not in the game at the moment.

25 mins: Goal! Xavi this time thunders it into the net after a run from Messi. Video up.

24 mins: I'd mention the Santos players but they aren't getting the ball.

20 mins: This is one way traffic as Barcelona dissects their opponents and wait for the chance to strike. Santos have their best chances on the break.

18 mins: GOAL Messi! what a goal, great footwork finds himself clear and slots it brilliantly. Video up.

17 mins: Neymar runs, runs, runs... and is bustled off the ball. He really has to work out that he's up against Barca and won't be allowed that sort of time.

16 mins: Santos earn a free kick on the corner of the penalty area and its Neymar and Ganso on it but it's pulled well wide of Valdes' near post. wastes chance that.

13 mins: Iniesta being troublesome down the left flank... trying to work in with Fabregas but nothing doing. Brilliant by Messi who dribbles and fires on target and Rafael fends it off in the Santos goal only as far as Thiago who should have done better. Should have been the Barca lead right there. Video up.

11 mins: The crowd is ever so expectant of an early Barca goal.... but right now they are making one pass too many....

10 mins: Other end now and  penalty surely? Great first touch from Messi who tries to be a brick wall... Video up.

9 mins: barcelona has had 91% of the ball in the first nine minutes.... Santos breaks and it's Neymar, Neymar, Neymar... tries to take on too many.

7 mins: First foray from Santos and Danilo... no danger.

5 mins: All Barcelona early on as they search for a way through the defences. Alves looking sharp and Messi is, well, Messi. Alves gets the first dangerous cross in but it's well headed clear. danger signs for Santos, the South American champions.

1 mins: Early ball to Barc as everyone wants a touch... Pique has already had three... Fabregas tries to work his way into the penalty area but no way through. Messi weaves but runs out of space. Video up.

THE FINAL IS UNDERWAY....

Picking another 3-1 win to Barca here tonight and another trophy for the cabinet which is likely to be pretty full this season.

We're not far away from taking our live broadcast... looking forward to this one! Both teams are on the park and we have pictures now we just need some top class action.

Kick off is not far away but in the meantime watch highlights of the latest El Classico where Barcelona ran out the winner over Real Madrid 3-1 (click view video above). The video will be removed once the match highlights start.

Pregame banter

Santos striker Neymar said he was "not nervous" ahead of his side's meeting with Barcelona in today’s final of the FIFA Club World Cup.

But aside from leading the line for the Brazilian side, the 19-year-old has become the hottest property in world football - with many major teams casting envious eyes in his direction.

"The head coach's job is to analysis their opponents. There is nothing unusual. We do have a clear thing to do tomorrow, which is to process the ball well. We will use our speed and quick movements to cause problems for our opponents. We will not change our usual style of play. But it's going to be a very tough match. We play the world's best club. Mr. Guardiola is one of the nominees for the FIFA Coach of the Year; and (Lionel) Messi belongs to Barcelona. We will try to do a good job,” says Muricy Ramalho, Santos coach

And as for the man of the moment ...

"I think it's going to be an historic game, not only for me, but also for my team-mates and Santos. It will be a very important game. But I'm not nervous, I think I'm very calm now. Of course our opponents are a very formidable team. But as I always say, no matter who we play against or where we are playing, we will just play our own game,” says Carles Puyol and his defensive colleagues, could be in for a busy 90 minutes.
