Hello and welcome to Olympic Stadium in Kiev for the Euro 2012 Group D clash between Sweden and England.
An improved offensive output is needed from both teams in a clash that is do-or-die for Sweden and a must-win for England as they look to keep up with the front-runners in Group D.

LIVE COMMENTARY: Sweden 2 – 3 England
94 Min: This is the final minute of extra time…Sweden with a last throw of the dice…cross from Olsson on to the head of Ibrahimovic! Bounces well over the cross bar and that’s fulltime!
92 Min: Sweden have committed all their players to attack and now England break it’s 3 on 2…Walcott puts a little chip across to Gerrard who hits the volley! Saved by Isaksson!
87 Min: Kallstrom to take a free kick for Sweden…comes in, plenty of yellow shirts up for it but England have finally gotten rid of it but only to a throw in which is deep in the England half…Olsson, Cross blocked and it’ll be a corner to Sweden…Whipped in but Joe Hart gets to it and clears it.
85 Min: England on the break…Ashley Cole is fouled.
83 Min: Sweden now flicking the ball around the edge of the box but they can’t get any definitive touches on it…Cross finally goes in from Larsson and almost falls to Ibrahimovic but he can’t get a head on it.
83 Min: Well it looks like Walcott has come off with a slight injury so he’s certainly done his bit for the team, a goal and an assist. Not bad for 20 minutes work.
82 Min: Elm is giving way for Wilhelmsson for Sweden…Cross comes in from Larsson but it’s headed away and England on a break now, It’s Walcott…he gives it back to Gerrard who gives it to Welbeck…He advances into the box and shoots! But it’s weak and dribbles wide.
81 Min: England swarming forwards again, can they get that two-goal cushion…
78 Min: Gerrard plays it down the right to Johnson. He gives it to Walcot who scoots into the box, he’s away from one defender! Fizzes the cross low, met by the boot of Welbeck! And it’s gone in! GOAL! VIDEO COMING SOON
76 Min: Sweden again on attack now…Ibrahimovic on the edge of the box…shoots! Parried in the air by Hart! Corner Sweden…Hart fists it away.
75 Min: Martin Olsson has gone on a journey down the left wing…he’s still going…he beats Johnson, and then puts it through Walcott’s legs! Cuts it back to Ibrahimovic who hits it first time and puts it over! VIDEO UP
74 Min: Young shoots but puts too much on it an it goes over the crossbar.
73 Min: England with the ball at the back…long ball to Carroll who can’t hold on to it, but it’s fallen to Gerrard who gives it to Young who wins a free-kick in dangerous territory.
72 Min: Corner to Sweden…First of the match…Hart grabs it and clears it straight into the back of an opponent, Jonas Olsson, who gets a yellow card for not retreating as well.
70 Min: Quick move from England, Parker to Carroll who shoots! Blazes it over the crossbar.
69 min: Sweden controlling things in the midfield at the moment, It’s Svensson to Ibrahimovic who is forced to the left sideline but manages to hold on to the ball…Olsson now…Ibrahimovic again tries to play through Olsson but Hart is there.
68 Min: Sweden now break and it’s that man Ibrahimovic again…he’s allowed to run with for an age until finally he’s shut down on the edge of the England box…falls to Olsson who shoots! Blocked.
66 Min: Gerrard breaks through the middle for England, he takes a push in the back from the incoming defender and goes down on the edge of the box but no free-kick given.
64 Min: Corner comes in…comes back out to Walcott who shoots! It hits the back of the net! GOAL! VIDEO UP
63 Min: Mellberg receives a yellow card…England take the free kick quickly! It’s fallen to Terry who heads it into the ground which hits Isaksson and goes over the bar! VIDEO UP
60 Min: Sweden straight back on attack as they look to put the game beyond doubt…Elmander can’t do anything with it and it’s gone back down the other end for an English corner…Walcott has come on for Milner…Gerrard puts the corner in…Drops to Johnson to shoot but it’s rebounded back into the path of Elmander who has a one-on-one with Cole, Ibrahimovic in support, carries it into the box Zlatan shoots! Brilliant tackle on him from Lescott.
59 Min: Ball comes in and Mellberg has gone up for it! GOAL! VIDEO UP
58 Min: Sweden break out of midfield and it’s Olsson now. He’s been violently scythed down by Milner who gets a yllow card for his efforts. Dangerous free kick territory against England.
57 Min: Sweden with a throw in deep in England’s half…Headed away by Terry.
56 Min: Parker picks out Johnson with a great ball, he puts in a cross but it doesn’t come to anything….now Sweden back down the other end and a ball has come through from Kallstrom! Johnson has to make a sliding tackle to clear the ball away from Elmander’s feet.
54 Min: Gerrard plays a long ball through to Ashley young but it took a deflection and goes too far.
53 Min: England can’t seem to get the ball past halfway at the moment…they have now though and it’s Parker who gives it to Young on the left, back to Gerrard who shoots! Blocked shot. Sweden on a break with Elmander but he has to do it all by himself and he can’t.
51 Min: Sweden put the pressure right back on as another long ball goes finding Ibrahimovic…Hart claims it.
48 Min: Long ball goes over the top from Sweden, Cole lets it bounce and he’s a short guy so it bounces over him and falls to Elmander. Elmander goes back and now it’s down the right side and the cross goes in! Terry clears it with his head…Sweden have produced another attack though and Andy Carroll has given away a free kick on the edge of the box….Ibrahimovic shoots, it comes off the wall, falls to Mellberg who shoots! It’s saved! No it’s not it’s dribbled over the line as Cole couldn’t clear it! GOAL! VIDEO UP
47 Min: Nice move for Sweden as Olsson delivers a ball into the box from the left…headed away by Terry…
46 Min: England already on the attack quickly…Parker with the ball…gives it away to Martin Olsson.
45 Min: England get us back under way in Kiev!
47 Min: Another good ball comes through from the Sweden midfield, this time it’s Kallstrom up to Elmander can he get on it? He gets a touch but again Hart is quick off his line and claims it and that will be halftime!
46 Min: Corner comes in from Gerrard, it’s very deep to Carroll but he’s headed it into the path of Larsson and Sweden come away with it.
45 Min: Johnson with the ball, back it goes to Gerrard…out to Milner on the right and on to Young who has drifted over. He wins a corner.
43 Min: A long ball is knocked forwards and Ibrahimovic has latched on to it…Elm down the right side of the box…England come away with it though and it’s Johnson who only has Welbeck ahead of him, Welbeck does well to hold on to it…he’s made some ground with the ball, journeys into the box! Fantastic tackle on Mellberg o dispossess him.
42 Min: Free-kick to England…Lescott to take it…Goes up for Carroll, falls to Milner and England with possession now…Cross comes in from Milner which goes beyond Carroll and out behind the back post.
41 Min: Larsson has played a nice ball through for Elmander to chase! Terry’s to slow but luckily Hart is quick enough to come out and claim it!
40 Min: Svensson comes deep to instigate a Swedish move…he finds Ibrahimovic who finds Kallstrom, gives it back to Ibrahimovic! Ball is intercepted by Johnson.
37 Min: It’s Young again for England who plays Cole out on the left, he swings a ball in and Welbeck goes up but can’t get up enough…Now it’s Sweden who have broken down the other end though…Ibrahimovic with it in the centre of the field in space, he plays Kallstrom who shoots! 36 Min: England with the ball down the left he’s played in Ashley Young! Young decides to go himself! Hits the side netting. VIDEO UP
34 Min: Hart unts it downfield, Which Carroll gets up to and Welbeck chases it down to play I back to young…he goes on a run…now Gerrard out on the left tries to play a one-two with Welbeck but Sweden come away with the ball…
32 Min: Ashley Young win a free kick for England after he plays hurdles with Svensson’s leg…Free kick played short…Parker gives it to Welbeck who’s touch is easily picked up…Mellberg is running ahead now…still with it…still with it…shoots! Deflects off Terry’s boot and goes safely into the hands of Hart.
31 Min: Odd passage of play there as Elm and Terry went down together in a tackle after Johnson had lost possession…Terry hacked at the shins of Elm about 7 times, knowing that his ageing limbs wouldn’t let him get back up…And he wins a free-kick for it.
28 Min: Gerrard finds Milner who finds Johnson out on the right…back to Milner who looks to cut a ball across the penalty area but Svensson is there…Now Sweden attacking…Met by the 2 lines of 4 of English defence…
26 Min: Sweden continue to push down the left side…Ball goes out as the cross comes in.
26 Min: Sweden looking to get themselves back into the game as Elm makes some space down the left side, he’s away from Johnson and the cross goes in! Cleared by Terry.
23 Min: Gerrard to Milner on the right, he tries to push it around Olsson who matches him easily but the Olsson clearance has only gone as far as Gerrard who plays an early ball into the box, it’s found the head of Carroll! GOAL! VIDEO UP
22 Min: Johnson with a throw for England…Ball is met by Olsson and cleared only as far as Gerrard who has an audacious shot that goes out…for a throw-in.
21 Min: Ibrahimovic has ripped away from a lumbering Terry down the right hand side…IBrahimovic gets there first bu Terry recovers an makes the tackle.
20 Min: Terry gives the ball away cheaply to Olsson who finds Elm and now it’s Ibrahimovic who drops a shoulder, gives a bit of a dummy and releases a shot down to Hart’s bottom right corner but Hart gets down to save.
19 Min: Ibrahimovic has dispossessed Parker and is in some space…no one to pass to though and when he finally makes the pass it goes straight to Ashley Young.
18 Min: Great ball from the England captain picks out Milner but he can’t keep it under control and gives away possession.
17 Min: Cole out on the left…now Young still on the left but he loses it and Sweden look to break…Larsson plays a good ball in to Ibrahimovic! Johnson comes back to dispossess.
15 Min: Gerrard plays a decent ball out to Milner who scoots down the right side, cross comes in and meets the head of Welbeck! Ball goes wide of the target though.
14 Min: Sweden with the ball down the right…Ibrahimovic playing very deep…Olsson on the left side now…looks to cross, Milner blocks though and it’s a Sweden through deep in England’s half…Long throw from Elm…Cleared by England.
12 Min: Elmander picks the ball up outside the English box, lays it back to Larsson who unleashes a shot! Safely taken by Hart though. VIDEO UP
10 Min: Sweden making a decent go of it down the left side…it’s Kallstrom on Johnson and Johnson seemed to foul Kallstrom quite clearly but nothing called…Caroll now the man to be fouled…Long ball goes over the top and Carroll is now the Fouler.
9 Min: Sweden with an attack…Long ball is aimed at Ibrahimovic…goes to far again though.
7 Min: Parker takes the free-kick…over to Carroll who contests it with Grangvist but the Swedish big man makes it first…picked up by Milner though…Pgives it to Parker who takes a shot! Saved brilliantly by Isaksson! VIDEO UP
6 Min: Parker wins the ball in midfield against Mellburg and plays tidies it up well…now Gearradr out to Milner…finds Welbeck who’s trying to tee up Parker…England have passed it a lot but haven’t managed to go anywhere…But Parker wins a free-kick gainst Larsson.
5 Min: Sweden making some moves at the back now…long ball over to Ibrahimovic but it goes to far and Hart gathers it.
4 Min: England win their first free-kick….oung puts a nice ball over to Welbeck who’s on the edge of the box…back to Young…back to Parker who tries to play it back into Welbeck’s feet but it goes into the keepers hands.
3 Min: Granqvist with a throw in deep in the England half…passes between him and Larsson but eventually goes out for an English throw.
2 Min: Sweden with the ball being hotly contested in midfield…Carroll gives away another free-kick…
1 Min: Sweden get’s us underway!...Milner with the ball for England…Over to Lescott to Cole. Englan content to play with it at the back…first foul of the game gos against Andy Carroll.

Pregame Banter:
Andy Carroll will make his first competitive start for England, partnering Danny Welbeck up front against Sweden at the European Championship.
Carroll, who has made just four England appearances, takes the place of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the only change from the team which started the 1-1 draw against France on Monday.
Ashley Young is set to take Oxlade-Chamberlain's place on the left wing in the Group D game.
REMINDER: The English Football Association says the start of game between England and Sweden has been delayed by 15 minutes because of the rain delay during the France-Ukraine match at the European Championship.
The FA says Friday's kickoff will now be at 10 p.m. local time (1900 GMT) because the other Group D match in Donetsk was suspended for nearly an hour because of a thunderstorm.
A torrential downpour and lightning forced the players off the field, but the game was eventually restarted.
