I just want to send all my support and whishes from a French tourist who visited your marvelous country in last October. I visited Christchurch and I loved the different walks I have had in your streets and the botanic Garden. But, I feel bad since I heard this bad news. I can't stop to think about what happened to your people. Courage for all of you. You are a great Nation, with great people. We all love you. I hope to see your city shining again under a quiet and peaceful sky. Best Regards Stéphane A French friend from Paris.

watching from Nelson and hoping my friends and collieagues are all managing to stay safe. I hope some of you can just leave for a while. I'm anxious to know more about the suburbs like Brighton Shirley and Avonside so i can decide when to return home. Take care of each other.

It is devastating to see my hometown reduced to rubble, here from Canada. We are proud of the Cathedral, and our once beautiful brick buildings, that I have such good memories of.
At this time we are still waiting to hear from family members and my Mum, who is visiting her brother in ChCh. Feeling very helpless over here!
All my best to fellow Kiwis, and sincere condolences to those who have lost their lives.

This is not the world coming to an end, though it is an end for some.My heart and prayers are with you all in Christchurch and New Zealand. Such a beautiful country. This is just the earth reshaping herself as she does from time to time. Human and other life just goes with the flow as it has no other choice.
