41 mins - The intensity has been knocked out of this game it seems, but Gomez tries to liven things up with a shot on goal. He maybe should have passed in field to Robben, who was open.

They were denied first up by some top keeping from Bayern, and then a minute later it was deja-vu, but the ball bounced off the left hand post, and very nearly trickles in. AND then they very nearly score for a third time, only for it to rattle the crossbar. It's all go here. Video coming...
13 mins - Franck Ribery (Bayern Munich) right footed shot from the left side of the box is saved in the bottom left corne.
8 mins - VIDEO UP - Bayern's first shot on goal. Meanwhile, Basel nearly have a dream opening, catching Bayern on the hop and nearly scoring. A beautiful cross from the Swiss team.
