The League Fix returns for 2012!

Rugby League goes under the spotlight – and the blowtorch – in The League Fix, 3news.co.nz’s online exclusive weekly series about the great game.

Co-hosts Warriors star Jerome Ropati and 3 News league reporter and Firstline presenter Sam Ackerman look at the NRL season ahead, and make their picks for the teams to be reckoned with.

Sharks season rests entirely on how Todd Carney bounces back. If he can hold it together, Sharks could be a surprises package for the season. Lots of journeymen in the forwards but a lot of heart too, Fifita, Gibbs and of course Gallen. Maitua has skill if he can keep fitness... I certainly wouldn't take them too lightly.

That was excellent... Love the League Fix, and really appreciate Sam Ackerman. It's awesome seeing a news reporter in this country that truely knows and appreciates his League. Most the others are either very anti with their aspect on the sport or they are just reporting it as a sideline to other sports. Also the length of it is great, I like the Roast etc etc but of course we get very little air time on those shows for the boys - So again hats off to Sam and J Ro.. And cheers to TV3 for letting him do it on the payroll Chur - GO the boys.
