A man in Wales ran into trouble at the train station when he tried to take his pony along for the ride.
He wanted to purchase two tickets for the 7pm Saturday service – one for him and one for the pony – but was told ponies aren’t allowed to use the train.
Despite this, the man bundled his pet into a lift and led it onto the platform.
When the train arrived the man and the pony attempted to board, but a conductor turned them away.
An Arriva Trains Wales spokeswoman said, "Horses and ponies, which may pose a risk to the general public, are not permitted to travel."
"Only dogs, and small animals in a fully enclosed basket or pet carrier, can travel on our trains."
After a brief argument, the man is believed to have left the station with the pony
