VIDEO: Mils Muliaina 100th test capping ceremony

Mon, 10 Oct 2011 7:00p.m.

A fractured shoulder in last night’s match against Argentina has ended Mils Muliaina’s Rugby World Cup dreams and his All Black career.

And last night thousands of fans were left disappointed, after his capping ceremony to mark his 100th test wasn’t broadcast.

Each Rugby World Cup game is broadcast to the world by the host broadcaster and the IRB didn’t want Mils’ capping ceremony on that world feed, which is why you didn’t see it.

But Sky New Zealand did film it. However, there were some major audio issues.

Campbell Live has managed to bring you the best of it.

Thanks Campbell Live for broadcasting the ceremony. Congratulations Mil's on your great achievement 100 test caps is no easy feat. It was disappointing not to see the capping on the night as my daughter waited up just to see it. Well done Mils, you will always be our No.1 Full back

What a great achievement for another All Black to attain 100 games for our national and favourite sports team. Yes totally agree he is a LEGEND along with Richie and the many other great All Blacks that have gone before them. However, what or who gives the IRB the right to take away the honour from this adorable man and yes it should have been broadcast around the world as many fans would have seen him at his finest in all those games - well Mil's time to reflect and glow in the glory of the pinnacle of your career and you will always be remembered.

THANK GOD FOR THE LIKES OF CAMPBELL LIVE AT LEAST HE KNOWS WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT TO SEE. I WAS GUTTED FOR MILS, I THOUGHT THAT OZ AND MAORI T.V JUST WANTED TO GET TO THE KAI TABLE AND THE BEER TENT, BUT THEN I THOUGHT NAH THEY BE GUTTED ALSO. THEN I WAS CURSING AT SKY T.V, WE WANT OUR MONEYS WORTH YOU GET YOURS. AND THEN OF COURSE WE ALL HEARD IT WAS THE IRB. IVE SAID IT ONCE AND I WILL SAY IT AGAIN, I THINK YOU ARE A BUNCH OF FACIST RACIST PIGS. ONCE AGAIN YOU HAVE RUINED IT FOR ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENT FROM YOURSELVES, RICHIE GOT HIS AND WHAT A MOMENT, A TRUE LEGEND JUST LIKE MILS. YOU HAVE SHOWN YOURSELVES UP SO MANY TIMES AND YOU HAVE BEEN A DISSAPPOINTING BUNCH. YOU NEED TO PISS OFF AS YOU ARE SHOWING YOURSELVES TO BE OLD SOUTH AFRICA. YOU STUCK BY HADDENS CCOMMENT THAT THERE SHOULD BE 3 DARKIES TO EVERY RUGBY TEAM AND YOU ONLY SACKED HIM TO SAVE FACE, YOU ARE STILL INCOHOOTS WITH THE FOOL AND HIS CONCEPT WHICH I FEEL ARE ALL YOUR ARROGANT IGNORRANT OPINIONS JUST BEWILDERS ME AT HOW YOU COULD ALL STILL BE SITTING WHERE YOU ARE....IM SURE YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD REASON WHY YOU WOULD CUT MILS OUT OF WHAT WAS RIGHTFULLY HIS AND AOTEAROA CANT WAIT TO HEAR IT

Thanks CampbellLive for broadcasting/publishing this. We were gutted not to see this on the night...but it's kind of rude really, the IRB let McCaw's 100th test cap get broadcast, but not Muliaina's?? What's the deal with that??

So it was the IRB yet again who screw up so badly...who's surprised? They are more out of touch than an amputee.
