England’s Stuart Broad has achieved a remarkable feat by breaking the world record for slow batting in the final test against New Zealand at Eden Park.
Broad batted for 102 minutes without scoring, as he and Matt Prior thwarted the New Zealand efforts as they tried to capture the last three wickets and claim the Test and series win.
Broad held the world record for one minute, before getting off the mark with two runs in the 102nd minute of his innings.
Kiwi Geoff Allot in the 1998-99 test against South Africa didn't score in 101 minutes of batting.
