There was a party atmosphere at Team GB house when Tony Hadley, the leader of the 1980's pop group Spandau Ballet, invited Olympic athletes to sing together the hit 'Gold'.
The music was played as a motivational tune to help the home team win a record 65 medals - 29 gold, 17 silver and 19 bronze - the best British performance since the 1908 Olympics which were also held in London.
