It’s a panel of experts and one armchair critic as Warriors star Jerome Ropati and Kiwis legend Hugh McGahan join Sam Ackerman to dissect the weekend’s best NRL action.
After a disappointing loss to the Sea Eagles on Saturday, are the Warriors out of finals contention?
Ropati offers some insight into how those in the Warriors camp are coping with the frustrating loss.
“It’s going to be a hard one to take,” he says. “It’s almost a repeat of last week – but different set of circumstances.”
McGahan says he understands the frustration felt by many fans.
“It’s tough for the fans to watch and I honestly don’t know what the problem is. Obviously Bluey doesn’t know what the problem is, or he would have fixed it by now.
“One thing though – the Warriors didn’t play bad. They played good, strong football [with a] couple of lapses here and there.”
Plus the rest in what was an otherwise exciting weekend of rugby league. The Storm have now lost five in a row - is it a sign of the apocalypse? With just five games to go, who are you backing for the 2012 NRL Grand Final?
