I live in So. Cal., U.S.A. Quite near the imfamous San Andreas fault. I have been through many earthquakes. The images I have seen of Chch. in the last 2 days are more terrible than any I have seen here. May God bless all of the people affected.
And thank you for the coverage (even with the flaws). As an example of the damage done to a larger, modern city, we can learn so much. Even a "smaller" quake has the power to devastate life and property without warning.
Be kind to one another, the world is praying for you.

Kia Ora. My name is Rikki and i am twelve years old. The eartquake has definately been one of the most devastating New Zealand disasters. I truely empatise with those that went through what I can only imagine to be an utterly traumatic expreience. I mourn for the families that have experienced loss and devastation. My most sincere of thoughts and wishes to those who are still in Christchurch, people who are awaiting Christchurch citizens arrivals in other cities and also those who are still awaiting to hear if their missing family members have been located/found. Lots of love and positive thoughts to all citizens of Christchurch!!! love from Rikki xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox :)

The earthquake was a devastating disaster - all the more reason for some accurate reporting please. This footage is clearly from well after the main tremor: the rock had already fallen on the building, and the emergency services have had time to arrive and start cleaning up. Please continue to bring us footage to show the world what has happened, but please don't let your desire for headlines like 'the moment the earthquake struck' short change the public just for quick 'clicks'. Thank you, and best wishes to all in Christchurch.
