The hand seemed to rake the face numerous times...

Footage of All Blacks captain Richie McCaw being repeatedly raked across the eyes and face in last weekend’s test match has surfaced.

Sports presenter Murray Deaker highlighted the possible eye gauging on his show, zooming in on the incident making any defence of the incident difficult for the Irish blindside flanker Kevin McLaughlin.

The incident has not garnered any retrospective attention by match officials.

What are your thoughts – does McLaughlin intentionally rake the face to injure McCaw? McCaw was also a target in the World Cup final where it emerged post game that there was a possible eye gouge incident.

Watch the video for more.

Gouging! No doubt. Luckily Richies eyes are made of titanium. If you look closely you can see that both McCaws eyes are actually laughing at McLaughlins girly eye pokes.
