It’s a new season and a new look for Breakers veteran guard CJ Bruton.
The 36-year-old was without his trademark dreadlocks at today’s first pre-season training. Instead, sporting a newly-shaved head.
“My wife just said, ‘cut it’. She’s been pestering me for a number of years,” he says.
“I just said, ‘look, when it’s time it’s time’… and I went and got it done.”
Bruton says his pre-season trim was a surprise even to his oldest son, Rio.
“I came home and [he said], ‘daddy, what happened? Your hair has gone.”
“My little son [Roc] just looked and me and kept whacking me on the head… but at least now he can’t pull it so that’s a good thing.”
