Wool is flame resistant - proves "rural" comedian

Wool is flame resistant - proves "rural" comedian

By James Murray

Rural comedian Billy Black played with fire today to prove the point that wool is not easily flammable.

Black wore a woollen garment and allowed a sidekick to blast him with a gas blowtorch.

He did not catch fire, but did look slightly uncomfortable as he writhed under the flame.

Black was demonstrating wool’s powers at this year’s Fieldays.
