Keepers at Duisburg Zoo in Germany have been showing off their latest arrival - a seven-month-old koala cub.
The as-yet unnamed female was born in May 2011, but she only left the pouch of her mother Goonderrah this week.
Zookeepers introduced the pair to journalists and weighed the little newcomer. She tipped the scales at 618 grams.
Keepers then returned the mother and her clinging cub to continue clambering in the trees of their enclosure.
The cub will be named at an official ceremony next year.
The Duisburg Zoo claims to be the only zoo in Germany that keeps koalas, according to its official website.
