A man alleged to be England captain Mike Tindall is seen kissing a blonde woman

CCTV posted on YouTube appears to show England rugby captain Mike Tindall and an unidentified blonde touching and embracing in a Queenstown nightclub.

The footage, uploaded by a man who claims to be a bouncer, shows a man who resembles Mr Tindall talking animatedly with a blonde woman at the bar.

The woman then has a drink and leans forward to kiss the man. Outside the club the couple is seen embracing. Later they leave together, accompanied by a group of people.

Yesterday, British tabloid The Sun Newspaper alleged Tindall kissed and groped a woman at Queenstown bar Altitude on Sunday night, just weeks after he married Zara Phillips.

Photos from the bar’s Facebook page show Tindall was at the club enjoying a night out.

The England Rugby Union released a statement in response to the Sun’s allegations.

“Like all the lads he plays for England with a massive amount of passion, and he was relaxing after a tough match.”

They have not yet responded to the footage.

Aw, the bouncer's totally in the wrong, bro. He shuld be shot and strung from a tree. Mike Tindall did no wrong. A man got to do what a man got to do. It's not like he had sex in the bar. My wife won't mind me chilling out in the bar with some lady company. Mike and the lads were being true gents in making sure the blonde got home safe.

For my money, even as a pom the Blacks are way ahead of everyone this year. Concentrate on the game not the social events (which anyone who has played the game will know will always happen). Enjoy the first class rugby, the atmosphere and the competition - but do not cheapen a fantastic event by involving off the pitch activities.
