A polar bear named Huggies gave birth to two live cubs last week in a zoo in the Netherlands.
Huggies gave birth to three cubs on December 1, but one was stillborn, the zookeepers at Ouwehands Animal Park in Rhenen said.
A few days prior to the birth, Huggies was taken into a delivery room so she could rest up. Very few polar bear cubs are born alive in captivity.
People will be able to visit the bears at the zoo if they all remain in good conditions over the next few months.
