This proves to me how media are influenced by business and the National party itself. JK is distancing himself as this could expose him and his MPS.

Our political and media system are by no means clean, and we need a commission of enquiry into TVNZ, TV3 and Radio Networks to investigate what public, private transations have taken place and what for.

"There is also evidence that Ms Lee's publicly-funded company produced a National Party campaign ad."

Jez, journalism really is a dead art. This beat-up is analogous to:
(a) public sector employees making a donation to Labour. Shock, horror: taxpayer funds used to fund political party.
(b) When I was a child, my parents received family benefit. My dad smoked, therefore taxpayer funds were used to buy cigarettes.

The company is a PRIVATE company. It bought the production equipment using the capital injection from its owner, Mrs Lee. It then undertook a contract to make some tv programmes for NZ on Air. The equipment is hers to do as she pleases.

This piece, Mr Campbell, would be worthy of posting on some unashamed one-eye political blog.
