below is a copy of my most recent complaint to Cadbury. I thought I would post it here because Cadbury won't let it see the light of day. "I find it absolutely laughable that you showcase your "most trusted Brand" award just at a time when you betrayed the very trust that people had respected. You may well return to your old recipe and come back begging with your tail between your legs...but it is too little too late as far as I am concerned. I won't be buying Cadburys again not for myself or for my children. I wouldn't be surprised if your sales skip a whole generation now. Make sure that your staff ( on their way to centrelink ) have the opportunity to thank the 'bean counter' that thought giving less and asking more would be a great way to make money."
Gee I was gutted Cadbury need to change back I prefer the "old" Cadbury chocolate than Whitakers but I now buy Whitakers cause it is better than the "new" Cadbury....bring back the old especially before Easter I would hate to go without my Cadbury milk chocolate egg with buttons :)
I have been an avid buyer of Cadbury's chocolate since the first time I bought my own. 30 years of good chocolate and now I am changing to Whittaker's. Both for it being NZ made and more cocoa, and honest. Have yet to taste it but I am confident after reading the comments on here that I won't disappointed. Bah humbug Cadbury - at least you are in the right country now!!

Welcome to the new world of social proofing Cadbury! It's no longer that easy for the big boys to try a sly one - Go whittakers! May your sales boost from my wallet! AND viva the net and broadband ... even if it's slow and expensive in NZ
How disappointing, I have always been a fan off Cadbury, until I tried some Whittakers to really confirm the difference.Its true Whittakers does taste so much better.I think Cadbury is going to suffer a lot from this in the long run as word spreads and more cadbury consumers switch there chocolate indulgences to better tasting, home-grown brands, namely Whittakers.Good on 'em I say for outing Cadbury, may the Whittaker revolution begin!
In my opinion Cadbury's made a big marketing mistake in lowering the quantity of chocolate in their bars. It smacks of deviousness and dishonesty. I have now tried Whittakers and found it better tasting. I won't change back. Go Whittakers
You know that cheap nasty foreign chocolate your Aunt buys for you at Christmas, from the Warehouse. Well Cadbury's has now become that chocolate.
That is great that an NZ company is taking on the big players with quality instead of profits as alot on Nz products are getting watered down for bigger returns.Cadbury was an NZ top player but its just business now and with the change of ingredients i can see they have taken there position for money rather than the publics quality of taste, after all its chocolate not moulded toys or shapes.I wont be buying anymore or there product and hope other do the same unless they focus on quality instead of profits, but then i like to buy NZ made anyway.Les
I hadn't, until last night, seen the Whittakers advert, but good on them they say most of it for us! I have only bought one bar of cadbury chocolate since the change, and wont be doing so again. I know of at least 12 other people who say the same. Infact I have only talked to one person who hasn't noticed the taste (a teenager, need I say more!).I noticed in your interview that Cadbury doesn't really have an response to the disappointment of their former consumers. They said they only want to "Focus on the fun and enjoyment" and therefore not the quality of their product or the jobs lost.My loyalty and money will be going to NZ manufactures of chocolate. By buying from companies that have moved off shore we are condoning their decisions. BUY NZ made for quality and our economy.
