Hi to all those interested in the Ideal Cup!For more information on the Ideal Cup, please contact us at info@idealcup.co.nz or nick@celciuscoffee.co.nz or phone Nick on 021 284 0222.Cheers and thanks for your interest!
We sell lots of Keepcups, non-BPA plastic (Polypropylene sp?), easy to wash, barista standard, cute and great to drink out of. Made in Melbourne they are almost local! Also the porcelain/silicone lid eco cups, US design but made in China. Great if the new Ideal Cups are a workable alternative. Til then it is Keepcups for us and the other 6 authorised resellers - who are all in Wellington! Yay the windy city for caring enough to take a punt on great new alternatives. Wendy cultured, petone and espresso rescue (mobile)
Hey. Where do I find the details of Ideal Grounds for the Ideal Cup??? Can't seem to find thepr details any-where! Regards. Brent
Thanks for the story campbell live , better than the one about the cockroaches, that like coffee machines ! As a cafe owner i have been looking for the right sized re-useable cup for a long time - looking forward to the launch end of this month !! And i agree with you TB lets take a moment out of your day to drink from the good old ceramic cups !
Ideal grounds should have got a mention in regards their cups. If we buy reuasable cups we should at least support local. Anyone have there contact details please post
Keen to hear your thoughts on plastic cups Pinch of Salt? Years ago, another idea was to use spun aluminum like the SIGG water bottles. In the end, both kinds require energy to create - both are extracted from the earth. We also looked at using the DCI porcelain cups - too heavy and breakable and costly. I am also interested in Nick Fry's IDEAL CUP - have not heard a wisper about this - can't find on the net either. In any case, what were your thoughts?
Well done Peoples Coffee. We must try and change this, Will promote the idea at local coffee houses in Nelson. Pass the word.
There is now a NZ (Wellington) designed and manufactured barista standard resuable cup option, the "Ideal Cup", which will be available to the market by end of February. A completely unique design and will be available at a very reasonable price. An exciting new initiative by Ideal Grounds, a Wellington-based business who develop sustainable products in the coffee industry.
who cares, apparently a meteorite is headed our way some day, i think the last thing we should worry about is the amount of papercups in the landfill
