anyone interested in the topic of ufo's google news turkey ufo, a good video worth looking at, seems tv3 don't want to link to any of the news articles running the story

As the journalist who commissioned Quentin Fogarty to recap the earlier sighting and who subsequently arranged for the footage to be scientifically analysed in the US it should be pointed out that to this day the Kaikoura encounter is still the only sighting that has been "argued out" in the refereed technical press (Applied Optics). If there ever there was a man we should all be grateful to it is Dr Bruce Maccabee who wrote the paper after flying to NZ and conducted the research a few weeks after the event.
