"Now New Zealand is in the ultimate space race against Russia and the U.S" This whole deal seems like a 'blast' from the past.. US launched first men on the moon in 1969.. even so called '3rd world' countries like India launched their rocket and placed a satellite in 1980 and recently they have launched and place a probe on the moon and NZ is elated at "rocket that burnt for 20 seconds".. Wake up NZ.. its 2010. 3news should infact raise the apathy from the government towards the space programme. why do we have to depend on other countries from cars to mobiles to satellites ?

I think this was a great feat for kiwis. If its not up to the standard of others bugger off then, we need more kiwis like this nerdy guy to break our jock image.

"It burned for 20 seconds "or so", reaching its target speed of "up to" Mach 5, or 5000kmh, reaching "at least" 100km altitude and spending "between 10 and 20 minutes" in the sky before splashing down."
ZZzzzzzz Yawn .........
This was a load of crap- the krauts were building these in 1944 (70 ish years ago) and bombing London
