I work in parking and there is no reason to buy this system other than the huge revenue it can bring in.
It doesn't make sense for them to want to buy this system if they aren't going to be making more money... to buy beer.
All about money. And I don't trust politicians either.
I've seen sensors above parking spaces in Central London underground car parks over 10 years ago doing the same thing. Non-story.
What a load of garbage, these things will only be about Revenue raising and nothing else. It may help motorists find a park, but will then hit them with fines if they stay longer than they should. Sounds a bit like the Wheel Clampers, if you stay for 2 mins over, expect a fine in the mail. Sorry, I never trust Kindergarten Politicians, then again I don't trust any Politician.
