kayte, where has home care been taken away? Obviously not in Canterbury has there are a number of older residents on my street alone who get people visit weekly to them. And it is common sense to sell off the older state houses, especially those in wealthy areas so that you then have the money to build more state houses, which is what, if you follow is being done. More state houses are to be built than are being sold off. Jezz do you people just rattle on without actually knowing what is being done? btw, the correct term is Maori, there is no "s"
Mr Key has a very short memory. He has put out the older folk to stay in their own homes. and taken away the facilities for govenment owned care. Now he takes away the home care promised so that they have no support at all. Second - He will charge investors taxes - they will sell properties leaves no rental houses- and he has taken to selling government 3 bedroom houses because they say they are not required. where will we all be living - in sheds like the other third world countries. people have short memories National govemernments always always look after the higher income people. now it is also the maoris who get looked after anyone else can go to buggary.Sick of the rubbish handed out superanuant
Democracy doesn't care about pleasing everyone. Deomacracy cares about pleasing the Majority. That is the highest percentage of people, NOT the highest percentage of Dollars. This anouncement should help NZ realise where Governments allegience lies. People...Money...People...Money...People...Money..?
