I was reading with interest, your story about paying for gas via cellphone.
I am aware of the paranoia surrounding the issue of a cashless society; particularly from the religious viewpoint, however, biblical prophecies aside i feel compelled to question: how could the waning illusion of a free thinking, democratic society survive under such a tight grip of control that a cashless society would ultimately introduce?
Given the level of mistrust that our polititions have proven themselves to be worthy of; One has to wonder what the intentions are of these faceless people who would have untold personal information at their fingertips, should a cashless society be introduced. I hope that I am long dead before one of the few bastions of privacy left are eradicated from the contributing members of our society.
