Perhaps if you couldn't see what the fuss was about, you shouldn't have commented, David Watts.
He wanted to be in the air force as a child- THAT was what he wanted, not a childish wish to be a hero. He did not want to die aged 46 leaving behind the wife he was devoted to and his three children who he adored. Perhaps you should think a little more before opening your mouth, or indeed your computer.

Hey "David Watts" its nice and easy for you to sit there behind your computer screen and pass judgement on people isn't it? People don't join the armed forces to be a hero, they join to provide a service for their country. It is people like Forster who make sure that YOU have a safe and comfortable country to live in. So next time instead of being a dick, maybe you should show some compassion for his family! They have lost a husband, father, brother, son.

Dont see what all the fuss about!

he must have wanted to be a hero, being in the armed forces in the first place anyway.
so now he gets to be one after all!
All his dreams have come true.

HOORAY!

An absolute tragedy for this father, husband, son, friend and comrade to be killed in the line of duty, sincere condolensces to his wife and children who must be devastated, take comfort in knowing that he did not suffer. Thoughts also to his comrade injured alongside him, may he be able to recover and take pride in his work defending our country.
