The Wallabies say they plan to be physical against Wales in the playoff for 3rd and 4th tomorrow night.

Both team's have had their final captain's runs at Eden Park today.

It has been a week of dejection and reflection for the Wallabies; they do not want to return home with three defeats in this tournament, so the bronze final offers some redemption.

Wallabies captain James Horwill says the beauty of this opportunity is you get a chance to right some wrongs from last weekend and finish the tournament on a positive note, “and we can do that”.

The Wallabies were battered by the All Blacks in last weekends semi-final.

But they dished out plenty themselves. Horwill's reaction when shown the off the ball Rocky Elsom facial on Conrad Smith was nonplussed.

The International Rugby Board’s citing committee never acted on it and the Wallabies management will not comment, although Elsom has been omitted from their 22 for tomorrow night’s game.

But Horwill says this is not going to stop the Wallabies from being physical against Wales.

“It is going to be the same intensity, it's a test match and it's a game we're playing to win.

“You know we're going to do every thing we can to get the job done.”

Especially for one of their veterans.

“Everyone's focusing on finishing this off on the right note and there's extra motivation with Nathan Sharpe playing his 100th test.”

And add to that, the Wallabies ongoing Eden Park hoodoo, winless since 1986.
