Janie...SHUT UP. You dont know half of it. As well, know that the mother did not park dangerously, the car tragically skidded. The father does NOT and HAS NOT in this time blames the boys. Unless you are there, and really know, dont post such cold an uncaring comments. This family is a close, loving and strong family and their hearts have literally been crushed. You just have no idea....and thats sad.

To Michael Dee and Jay, the guy clearly is saying it is the boys fault but he forgives them.

Gosh Janie aren't you just a ray of sunshine.. The poor bloke lost his son and could have very well lost his wife too. Instead of giving words of encouragement and support you choose to dwell on the negative. Why do some in this country have nothing better to do with their time than kick people while they're down?

To Janie, take it easy on the poor bloke, he just lost his son! If you actually watched the video clip he tells the boys it wasn't their fault. Keep your comments to yourself, they don't help one bit.

To Janie. If you watched the video clip properly you will see the father told the boys that it wasn't their fault. He isn't shifting the blame. Take it easy on the poor bloke he just lost his son. The boys vandalising the letterbox, inadvertently set a series of events into motion; it isn't their fault, but there actions had a domino effect. Don't post any more crap comments here you idiot.

The father implys it is the boys fault who damaged his letterbox. Um NO! The wife shouldn't have got into the car with her son and his friend and raced down to the river and parked dangerously on a slope. She is responsible not the boys that wrecked their letterbox. How dare he shift the blame!!!

Best to call Wanganui Whanganui is much 'safer' knowing this land is 'tapu' and has its own power, take care..
