Wayne Rooney only English player in World XI 2011

Manchester United and England’s Wayne Rooney is the only English player announced in the 2011 FIFA-FIFPro World XI announced Monday, as voted on by more than 50,000 players.

But at least Rooney has a friendly face, with Manchester United teammate Nemanja Vidic also making the XI.

I agree with all apart from 1. How on earth did Rooney get ahead of Van Persie in this team. RVP has been on fire all the way through 2011, a little bias towards Man Utd I think
