Buller, Westland and Fiordland: Fine at first, with early morning frosts inland. Rain developing in Fiordland tomorrow evening, and patchy drizzle in Westland at night.
Otago and Southland: Mainly fine, with early morning frosts. Scattered rain developing in the west and on Stewart Island tomorrow night.
Chatham Islands: Showers, some heavy with hail, becoming lighter and less frequent tomorrow.
Sunday: North Island, Cloud increasing, especially in the west,with patchy drizzle developing from Waikato south, turning to rain south of Taupo. South Island, Rain spreading up the west coast, with heavy falls possible, then clearing from the south. A few showers elsewhere.
Monday: North Island, Rain spreading to most places, clearing south of Taranaki to Hawkes Bay later. South Island, Mainly fine in the west, a few showers elsewhere retreating to the ranges by afternoon.
