lol, funny.
Im betting the prices of mcdonalds healthy options are absolutely ridiculous. They are aren't they?
Why would poor people go into mc donalds and look at the menu and pick out a ridiculously overpriced salad and ... lol... an equally overpriced bottle of water.
The idea is absurd. And the reality is most maori and pacific island people aren't as wealthy as the white people.
No poor person would realistically go all the way out to McDonalds to buy an overpriced salad and bottle of water, do I need to spell that out and repeat it.
I'll repeat it again.
No poor person would realistically go all the way out to McDonalds to buy an overpriced salad and bottle of water.
I think it is just as you said Catherine, people aren't as stupid as you are.

Thoroughly disappointed in Weight Watchers. Mc Donalds is doing so much damage to peoples health to the environment. 70% of Brazillian rainforests deforestation is for beef grazing and beef patties for McD's is a leading funder of this. Their food limits peoples palette and the same time as expanding their waists. We need diversity not more of the same with a cop out tick of approval.

Good on you Weightwatchers for giving me credit for being intelligent enough about what I eat. The whole point of their points system means that I have the brains and self control to make my own choices. If I want to use 6 and a half of my total 20 points for the day on an occasional treat the world isn't going to end, and is better for my chances of success in the long run. And, I have to say it is pretty offensive that it is being implied that Pasifika and Maori people are not likely to have the nous to stick to the recommended choices but will eat the burgers instead!(Discussed on National Radio this morning) Every individual has a choice about what they put into their mouth, regardless of ethnicity. Honestly, give people some credit!
