The Wellington Phoenix is now owned by a group of businessmen calling themselves the Wellnix.
They have come to the financial rescue of a team recognised as a major asset not just to Wellington, but to the future of New Zealand football.
John Campbell spoke to Wellington city councillor John Morrison and to Gareth Morgan who are both now part owners of a football team.
