There were plenty of age-group rugby matches played around the country today, but one in Wellington had special significance.

The Wellington Football Club held its first under-21 match for many years today.

The match, played against Wainuiomata, was former All Black Murray Mexted’s way of fulfilling a promise to an old friend.
