The bylaw banning gang patches in Whanganui came into force in 2009

The Whanganui Council has released an amended version of its bylaw banning gang patches in the area after the High Court ruled the original was invalid.

The old bylaw banned patches in areas, in which 95 percent of Whanganui's residents live.

Under the new bylaw, patches would be banned in just the central business district, 19 parks and the main suburban shopping centres.

The council is now seeking public feedback on the amended by-law.

Supply services.... untill the average citizen runs this country . and only paid the average wage.. . the rates and taxes wont reprasent your wages,, but the wages of the already ovr paid greedy child murderers. these scum actions have brought ,poverty , child poverty ,, crimes and violence against woman the elderly... againt the whole of society.. ad soon we will see that there vile actions will soon bring the same bombs to there doors as it has the, vile greedy , corrupt .. public servants ovr seas..
