It appears that multinational corporation/commercial interests are able to have laws enacted in the USA which take precedent over New Zealand laws. And if a suitable US law does not exist, no problem, just break any law with impunity. Initially, I thought Mr Dotcom is an international terrorist and the more I find out, the more I realise who acted criminally in this case. I am still waiting for evidence that Mr Dotcom has actually broken any laws. Of course, now that I have voiced my opinion, I can expect a raid any day now, my house turned upside down and my wife and children terrorized. It is time to stand up for civil liberties and to tell the criminals to stay out of New Zealand. Laws of a foreign power should never take precedence over New Zealand laws. I hope Mr Dotcom will sue those individuals for compensation and that he presses charges against the individual who committed perjury.
