The way our traffic grid locks at peak hour we would all be buggered if we had to leave because of a disaster. I think the idea would be to stay put and wait it out if you are at a safe distance from a volcano. It's as they say not a matter of if but when. Auckland is getting off too lightly with all the natural disasters happening around the country, sadly to say I don't think we will miss out, it just hasn't happened yet. Just being realistic. Movement is slowly coming this way.
