New Zealand’s best white-water rafting crews have been battling it out this weekend at the National Championships, with the event doubling as a test event for next year’s World Champs.
Annie Cairns of the Okere Ladies rafting team says it is huge advantage being able to practise on New Zealand rivers.
Among those at the test event were rafters who represented New Zealand in the Olympic Games.
