Well said Chris, Nationals going the same way, they are just dusting off Ruth's policies of Bene bashing. The media shuld stop claiming Helen as some sort of Labour party King maker, she nearly sent the party bankrupt, she's now toxic. Shearer just needs a makeover and some spin. Remember Helens spin over 2000/2001, she even got married to improve the middle class image, it was all smoke and mirrors, a magic show.

Labour really are doomed which is such good news for hard working and normal thinking Kiwis. Shearer has proven to be a poor choice. He is not a good communicator and he is not a dynamic leader. Recent interviews show him mumbling and bumbling and at the new housing policy opening he lacked facts and looked very uneasy. The rank and file dislike him as he is too centralist. Cunliffe is intelligent and a better communicator but he is disliked amongst the general voting public, he comes across and smug and smarmy. Roberston is gay and middle NZ are not ready for a gay PM. Little is a strong unionist and lacks charisma. There really is no one else that is a clear candidate for leader esp, within 2 years. That along with deep ideological divisions, fractions and resentments mean Labour will be again relegated to the back benches. This of course is a good thing for NZ. After decades of Labou'rs socialism and PC engineering we are still paying the price financially and morally. Labour are corrupt and broken and they really need an enema.
