You can't get farther from the sea than the small Otago village of Bannockburn - so it's not the kind of place you'd expect to hear talk of dolphins at the pub.

But Bannockburn pub worker Gemma McGrath is so passionate about saving hector and Maui dolphins that she's worn the wine-making community down.

They've donated their time, their money, their talents - in fact every step of the process - from the grapes on the vine to the bottles on the shelf - and all proceeds go to their Dolphin Girls cause.

Wonderfull effort by all concerned to help save the dolphins. I look forward to tasting the wine! Please note the names are Hector's and Maui's dolphins -with an apostrophe. I gave Maui's its name in 2002.
