Winston Reid played his part in West Ham’s 3-0 win over Fulham, scoring a thunderous header that left ‘keeper Mark Schwarzer rooted to the spot.
After West Ham’s 3-0 loss to Swansea last week, the Hammers set about making amends for that poor display when Kevin Nolan scored inside the opening minute, with new man Andy Carroll having a hand in the build-up.
Reid’s goal came in the 30th minute from a corner after plenty of West Ham pressure, when he rose above Brede Hangeland and Mark Schwarazer to power the ball into the back of the net.
Midfielder Matt Raylor rounded out the scoring with a well taken half-volley.
Next up for West Ham is Norwich away while Fulham host West Brom.
