Woman plucked from sea after nine hours

A 23-year-old Auckland woman has been rescued after spending the night in the sea off Takapuna Beach.
The police launch Deodar plucked the 23-year-old woman from the water about 1km off the beach shortly after 7.45am on Friday.
She was reported missing at 11pm on Thursday.
She was spotted by the police helicopter Eagle struggling to keep her head above water.
Police said she was taken to Auckland Hospital after being rescued.
