Woman serious after quad bike crash

A woman is in a serious condition after a quad bike crash in Manukau.
The woman, 38, crashed about 2pm on Klondyke Road, Onewhero and was flown to Auckland Hospital in a serious condition.
The Counties Manukau Serious Crash unit are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
Police believe is visiting New Zealand from Australia and are attempting to contact her next of kin.
This comes the day after a 10-year-old boy was killed in a quad bike accident on a Wairarapa farm.
The Department of Labour has warned the public of the grim dangers associated with quad bikes.
